Loungin' on Lonely Beach

Hey everybody, I'm still alive and kickin'. Well, not really kickin' so much, we are in probably the most laid back place in the world. We're staying at the Treehouse now where we have a cute little bamboo hut with bunk beds, but we both sleep on the top bunk cause we're a little traumatized from the cockroach we met at our last place and refuse to sleep on the floor. The restaurant has the best food we've tried so far, with tons of hammocks and cushions everywhere, we probably spent at least six hours in that place yesterday, reading, eating, napping and drinking a few "Happy Shakes". It may be a little too relaxed here, if our Visa's weren't going to run out I'm not sure we'd ever leave.

We got a hold of Jade and Damien the other day and they're coming to meet us in a few days, very exciting. Then we're off again to tour Cambodia, should be an experience. Love and miss you all. Till next time, Carla

Those 'Happy Shakes' must have worked their magic if you're not running from the place with cockroaches scurrying around!! But then, you will most likely encounter even larger creepy crawlies at some point.... good to get aclimatized! (just kidding)
And despite the thought of critters, it is cruel and unusual punishment to imagine the hammock gently swaying in the breeze, as we struggle thru the last month of winter (hopefully..) in this dreary, slippery and damp weather. Oh for some sun!!
Have a wonderful time on the next leg of your journey - and keep the photos coming. Hugs Mom

Hi girls,
Please, please, please phone Damian and Jade. They are trying to meet up with you. I think they are on their way to Lonely Beach. I told them you were at the Treehouse. Hawaii was incredible. Finally saw whales- Humpbacks and Spinner Dolphins! Have fun, we all miss you.
Love,
Sara
P.S.- Jade has Carla's health card.
